Through providing corporate services which assist in mitigating tax we become involved in offshore tax plannings for global clients.
In 1990 we established an office in Shanzhen, mainland China marking the start of our international expansion plans. Now we have connecting agencies over major regions in mainland China. In 1995 we opened representative offices in USA, and UK to allow us to promote our services overseas. We continue to be expansion minded, and have plans for new offices during 2005.
We currently manage over 10,000 offshore structures for clients located in almost every country of the world. Our clients are of varied profile; we advise governments, major public companies and legal and accountancy firms but our more typical client is the individual investor or businessman who requires a relatively simple and inexpensive offshore structure and who requires a comprehensive but reasonably priced ongoing service.
Two decades ago the offshore industry was still relatively small and shrouded in mystique. Today it is estimated that over 60% of the world's money flows through or is held offshore. It is probably true to say that no company which trades internationally can expect to be competitive without taking advantage of the tax breaks available offshore.
Good tax planning can make the difference between success and failure but is often given insufficient attention by those starting a new business or making a new investment.
